Who is Vooner FloGard?

Vooner FloGard is a transformed business direction of Vooner Vacuum Pumps, Inc. Vooner is a name symbolizing quality and repeat customers of stainless steel, cone port, liquid ring vacuum pumps. Vooner was founded in 1983. The vacuum pump business continues today, but Vooner FloGard represents an expansion of customer service with custom-engineered process gas systems. More importantly, with the evolution of Information Technology, Vooner FloGard offers FloGard® RCP or Reliability Control of Pumps.

10 Year Life Cycle Costs are calculated and presented to show true cost of ownership of gas process systems.

Our customers are still seeking standard skid packages combining pumps, motors, starters, belt drives, guards, and inlet and discharge separators. Performance tests are done on these skids before shipping.

Beyond that, customers today are looking for increased reliability over a 10-year life cycle cost. That means vibration and temperature sensors on the pump bearings to alert of degradation of bearings, misalignment and possible shaft fatigue. FloGard RCP Reliability Control of Pumps means collecting bearing data specifically related to vacuum pumps, transmitted to Vooner for online monitoring of conditions, and periodic customer reports. This service along with custom designed packages.

Custom design industrial gas package systems (26" Hg. Vac to 20 psig) are designed to improve plant profits by eliminating traditional hidden costs.

That means remove hidden costs with the use of process driven variable speed vacuum pump systems (patent pending) and FloTrac™ variable seal water supply pumps. Following Hydraulics Institute and the Department of Energy recommendations, variable speed versus fixed speed pumps are more efficient because they use power only when needed. Fixed motor speeds waste energy by working against control valves and relief valves.

Vooner engineering experience covers many industries with common applications of dewatering, drying, filtration, pneumatic conveying, evaporation and more. Recycled fiber paper mills have long preferred Vooner pumps for their rugged stainless steel internal parts.
