The
"XVC" pump combination of materials of construction
have Vooner’s standard VaneGard® stainless steel rotor
to protect airflow for the long term. Cast solid stainless steel
cones match the long life of the rotor for even longer pump
life. A 410 stainless steel shaft gives extra corrosion protection
for extended life under the packing rings and ease of maintenance
at the hub end.
For additional internal erosion wear protection and longer life,
316 stainless steel wear plates have been added for eXtra Value,
XV to the wetted surface of the heads. A cast iron housing is
used for a lower cost to test the time of housing wear from
small solids in the seal water.
