The "SS6" pump components are constructed entirely of cast 316 stainless steel with Vooner’s 316 stainless steel shaft and 316 stainless steel packing gland, studs and nuts. The chrome and nickel content offer erosion protection and the added 2% molybdenum offer pitting corrosion protection from acid stagnant on the material.
