The
"XVS" pump combination of materials of construction
have Vooner’s standard VaneGard® stainless steel rotor
to protect airflow for the long term. Cast solid stainless steel
cones match the long life of the rotor for even longer pump
life. A 410 stainless steel shaft gives extra corrosion protection
for extended life under the packing rings and ease of maintenance
at the hub end.
For additional internal erosion wear protection and longer life,
316 stainless steel wear plates have been added for eXtra Value,
XV to the wetted surface of the heads. The housing is also of
cast stainless steel for erosion wear protection in the case
of small solids in the seal water. It far outlasts a cast iron
housing of the XVC pump.
